Business people connecting via a space to develop their own projects, exchange ideas, share knowledge, network, and collaborate can make for a highly productive experience in a coworking space. Although there are advantages, working in a space with others may cause distraction.
The coworking experience can be improved by maximising your productivity. Here are some tips:
Tips for maximising your productivity:
Keep a schedule
Make a list of your daily tasks and check them off as you complete them. This gives you a sense of accomplishment, especially if you complete the list by the end of the day.
You must be strict with yourself while also being reasonable and setting an achievable goal. Make certain that the tasks are meaningful and contribute to your overall goal.
Take regular breaks
Continuing to work when you’re fatigued is the quickest way to lose focus, so take frequent breaks. Scientific studies have shown that after every 52 minutes of focused activity, the brain needs 17 minutes to recover.
You can “reset” your brain and improve your ability to focus by taking any kind of break from your device. A break can consist of anything, such as making yourself a cup of coffee and enjoying it in our outdoor break area, standing up to stretch, or taking a short stroll to the beach.
Reward yourself
Give yourself a small reward when you complete a task or reach a goal. This encourages hard work and makes you feel more optimistic. It doesn’t have to be a big reward – treat yourself to a latte, a special lunch, or something else small.
Be tidy
Keep your workspace neat and orderly since working in a cluttered area with piles of paper everywhere and a full bin can make you feel unmotivated.
Use technology
Utilize the technology that is made to simplify your life and save you time. Try downloading an app that creates a “to do” list for you or one that syncs emails and events to the calendars on your mobile devices.
